Letters

Below please write the names of the people who will provide letters of support of your application.  Three letters of reference are required; you may submit up to two additional letters of recommendation of your choosing.  You have the option to mail all of your letters with your application or have your letters mailed to ECF by those who are writing them.  Letters may also be submitted by email.  All letters must be received or postmarked by March 5, 2024.

Letters of Reference

A letter of reference from your Rector/Director/Senior Warden and the Diocesan Bishop in the diocese where your are canonically resident and a personal reference are required.  Please contact us if you have any questions about these letters.

Please attach all of the following items.  Also, please paginate and include your surname in the header of your personal statement and project outline.

Personal Statement

Attach a personal statement of no more than 1,000 words. Include a brief history of how you have developed as a faith leader, your ministry, when and where you joined the Episcopal Church (or an Anglican Communion Church), and how this journey has led you to develop your proposed ministry project.

Project Outline

Applicants should describe their proposed ministry using the following points.  ECF strongly recommends responding to each of the following points in order that they are listed below.  The project outline may be a maximum length of 1,200 words.
  • Outline of the ministry and the need that it addresses
  • How this ministry develops your own leadership capabilities and the leadership capabilities of people at the congregational and/or community level
  • Examples of prior initiatives that you have led
  • Identify project goals and how the effectiveness of the project will be measured

Project Budget

Please attach a project budget outlining the estimated costs of the project and any other sources of funding.  Please note the time period of the anticipated budget (e.g. one, two, or three years).

Video Statement

Please submit a video, no more than three minutes in length, which expresses the tangible ways in which your project will benefit the wider Church.

Click 'Submit' below to submit your application for review by the ECF Fellows Partners Program Selection Committee.  Please send any materials that are not already attached to this application (reference and recommendation letters, video statement) via email at fellows@ecf.org.
